The actor says that the amount one earns in Hollywood is almost four times of what they get paid in the Bollywood. With such a huge market of viewers to target, the global reach of Hollywood really affects the amount a movie earns upon release.
Though Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were listed in Forbes list of highest paid celebrities, they still need to go a long way to secure a position on the top three. Khan also said that it is not that very difficult to land up in the Hollywood, as many celebrities dream of. All they need to focus on is the talent and skills which are counted in the Hollywood rather than setting one’s own controversies on fire in the media.

With a comeback on the silver screen with his mediocre direction skills, A.L. Vijay has co-directed the movie ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ with dance legend Prabhu Deva. The cast of the movie might attract the crowd as the actors are ranked on above average acting skills even in the Bollywood. Starring Tammannah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, and Prabhu Deva, the movie is directed in three languages including Tamil, Telgu, and Hindi.
Though we all are aware of the fact that Prabhu Deva being a legendary dancer still lacks when it comes to direction on the silver screen, he just won’t stop doing it. Anyway, talking about the movie, the team of three has created a onetime watch motion picture that you can enjoy with your family and friends.
Not very common to the Indian Cinema, especially Bollywood, the script is written to create a comedy-horror to engage the Indian viewers. However; it is now up to the audience how they rate the movie.
Sonu Sood, playing the lead role in ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ is playing a Mumbai based executive who has a yearning to marry a modern girl full of ambitions and beauty of course. But the tables turn when he had to marry an unambitious girl played by Tammannah Bhatia, who hails from a rural area. The marriage happens against the wishes of Sood due to some unfavorable circumstances. After tying the knot, Sood brings his new bride to Mumbai with him where he hides her from his friends and peers to avoid embarrassment. Sood wants to get rid of the desi rural girl when one day he starts to notice unbelievable and fishy behavior of his wife. She has been acting weird lately and Sood decides to keep an eye.
After observing the lady for quite some time, Sood learns that his wife is possessed by the ghost of a woman who wants to be an actor and loves to live a modern lifestyle. Though attracted by the charm of his possessed wife, who sometimes gives him chills showing her ghostly avatar, Sood decides to get rid of the spirit and rescue his innocent wife.
The entire screenplay seems too long and might work good enough to manage a throughout smile on your face. The movie is good to be watched with friends and family. Though you should not expect much, we put it in the category of ‘one-time watch’.
So the much awaited Mirzya is in movie halls and the initial reaction of the viewers looks positive. The movie is likely to garner decent number at the box office. So, how good the movie actually is? Lets found out.
Mirzya has an epic start as the musical love story starts with a bang on the silver screen. The fresh faces are worth your attention as the young duo, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher both hail from Bollywood families with acting genes in their bloodstreams.
The screenplay of the movie is written by Gulzar after a gap of 17 long years. The story relates with some Shakespearean romantic tragedy where the love birds have to struggle through social and family tantrums in order to write their love stories in the golden books of history.
The movie is loosely based on Mirza-Sahiban folklore that hails from the old times in Punjab. Though the folklore is not as famous as that of Laila-Majnu and Heer-Ranjha, it has its own mystic charm. The story revolves around the princess Shuchi (Saiyami Kher), the pauper Aadil (Harshvardhan Kapoor) with Anuj Chaudhary as the prince who was chosen to tie the knot with the princess.
The first meeting of the upcoming love legends, Shuchi and Aadil happens when they first meet in School. The two soon get bounded in an unconditional bond and decide to grow together. The meeting of the duo is shown to be short termed as they are soon separated when Shuchi moves to another city with her royal family. The duo grows up to be young adults full of life and then the fate happens. They meet again and this time, they meet as a princess and horse trainer with princess unaware of the boy’s identity.
Shuchi’s father, the Maharaja decides to tie her daughter in holy knots of marriage with a prince, played by Anuj Chaudhary. Though the actor didn’t get much time on the screen to display his talent, he was seen transforming from a humble prince to a betrayed fiancé while portraying all emotions in between.
The princess and the horse trainer soon fall in love again leaving the girl’s father in total desperation and anger to end the story the soonest.
Mirzya revolves around these handful of actors while Om Puri has played as narrator with his magnificent voice narrating the movie in many parts. The candid landscapes used in the movie are surreal and eye catchy.
However; the entire screenplay is not worth the spark that viewers expect from actors playing lovers from a legendary love story. Lack of chemistry is the biggest downfall of the movie and the direction also loses its charm in most of the scenes.
The storyline of the movie revolves around India’s most celebrated skipper and batsman, Mahender Singh Dhoni. The story starts from the scratch from where the cricketer picked his passion for the game. The movie is a tribute to the cricketer and his countless struggles to achieve his dream of playing for the Indian Cricket Team and acing it too. The movie is shot at various realistic places those are the actual sites for the life memories of the cricketer.
The character of Mahi aka Mahender Singh Dhoni is played by the dynamic Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. With an impeccable portrayal of Dhoni, Sushant has done justice to the biopic directed by Neeraj Pandey. The total duration of Movie is 3 hours and 10 minutes and in this time period, viewers can watch the journey of the cricketer from a common school boy to the captain of Indian Cricket Team. The actor has not mimicked the cricketer completely which to your surprise has further glorified the character of Dhoni in the biopic.
Starting from Mahi’s school days and ending up on his marriage with Sakshi Dhoni, Kiara Advani has portrayed the character of MS Dhoni’s wife like a girl next door full of simplicity and honesty. The movie has also portrayed Dhoni’s short lived love affair with a Delhi Based girl who left the cricketer in heart wrenching pain and regret for life.
The portrayal of Dhoni’s short-lived career as ticket examiner at Kahargpur station is as lively as it could be. The scenes are shot with so much of reality that it gives an insight of a ticket collector’s life in real. The struggling days of Dhoni when he was juggling between his job at central railways and cricket practice might remind many people that they could have achieved their gals too while there still was some time left.
A scene depicting young Yuvraj Singh played by Herry Tangri is mind boggling due to actor’s perfect representation of young Yuvraj Singh. The movie also unfolds Dhoni’s encounter with other famous cricket stars before his career started as a player for the Indian Cricket Team.
Overall the movie is engaging and interesting but if you are not a fan of cricket or MS Dhoni, then it might start feeling like a boring and lengthy movie to yo
